I work as a sales development representative for a software company.  So my main responsibility is to qualify leads that the marketing team have generated for the business.  My main objective is to schedule meetings with senior sales members on our team and prospects who are interested in using our software.  I have targets to meet I have to schedule a certain amount of meetings a month and also create a certain amount of opportunities a month.  So an opportunity is created when a prospect that I’ve reached out to has shown commitment or interest in moving forward with our company and is interested in buying our software.  There are a few different pieces of software I use to do my job I obviously use email our company we use Gmail, we also use a CRM and LinkedIn is particularly useful for finding the appropriate person to reach out to at an organisation.  We also use sales engagement software which helps to create cadences which allows us to set timings in-between our emails that go our to people.  We can also create and save email templates within that software.
